Fulltime Clinical Therapist

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

• Provide individual, family and group therapy for survivors of sexual violence.
• Conduct assessments, treatment planning, case coordination.
• Maintain a high standard of confidentiality for clients.
• Provide crisis intervention to clients and facilitate emergency services as needed.
• Participate in weekly group consultation, supervision and clinical meetings.
• Maintain professional documentation and recordkeeping.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

As needed:
• Participate in community education and outreach.
• Coordinate w/activities of other RCCCNM programs.
• Participate in organizational planning.
• Participate in the provision of RCCCNM volunteer education.
• Supervise interns and volunteers.
• Per grant requirements make non-traditional hours available to clients for intake and regular appointments.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Master’s degree and NM licensure in Counseling (LPCC, LMHC) or Social Work (LMSW, LISW), or related discipline. Independent licensure preferred. Experience working with survivors of sexual assault and abuse. Maintain licensing and continuing education per RCCCNM and professional standards. Therapists must complete the RCCCNM 40-hour Advocate Training. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
