Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Under general supervision by Clinical Director, therapists at RCCCNM provide professional therapy for survivors of sexual violence, including sexual assault, abuse, incest and for others impacted by these issues. Therapists provide case coordination and advocacy for survivors by interfacing with various systems including employers, legal/court system, family/friends, medical, schools, etc.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

You will provide case coordination, referrals, and advocacy; provide crisis intervention to clients as needed and facilitate emergency services as required; maintain professional documentation and record keeping for client files; respect and maintain a high standard of confidentiality for all clients and cases; participate in consultation, individual supervision, and weekly clinical meetings with other RCCCNM therapists; and participate in on-call rotation.

Other Information/Requirements: 

This position requires a master’s degree and New Mexico licensure in Counseling (LPCC, LMHC), Art Therapy (LPAT), Social Work (LCSW/LISW), or related discipline; experience working with survivors of sexual assault and abuse; and maintenance of licensure and continuing education per RCCCNM needs and professional standards.
