Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The FVRx Coordinator will work in close collaboration with the COPE Food Access, Training and Outreach, and MEQ team to implement and sustain the Fruit and Vegetable Prescription Program (FVRx) throughout Navajo Nation.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The COPE FVRx Coordinator will organize activities with collaborators to carry out COPE FVRx activities in a timely, efficient and collaborative manner.

Other Information/Requirements: 

In 2015, COPE launched the Navajo Fruit and Vegetable Prescription (FVRx) Program, in which interprofessional teams of clinical and/or community outreach providers are trained to enroll families into FVRx. Families receive health education and vouchers for fruits and vegetables that are redeemed at local retailers, such as small stores, grocery stores and farmers markets.
