Main Areas of Responsibility:
Under the supervision of the Program Director: plans, orders, and prepares meals including snacks for young children enrolled in the early childhood program. Maintains cleanliness and keeps records as required.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Planning meals that adhere to CACFP Nutrition Program Guidelines; ordering all food and supplies for Nutrition Program; preparing and serving meals; adhere to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures; maintains temperature logs as required; and maintains appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all food items; and keep up to date menu record book.
