Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Arc of New Mexico is looking for a Financial Coach/Counselor. This is a Temp, FT, Non-Exempt position through March 2021 (which is the length of the grant contract; however, it could lead to continued funding as we have applied for a 2nd-yr grant).

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

We are excited to have someone to help us create a new program that will assist individuals/families with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities with increasing their knowledge of financial management and financial inclusion as they apply to their daily lives and their future. This will include creating curriculum–based workshops and informational sessions to encourage financial independence.

Other Information/Requirements: 

You must have AA plus 2-years’ experience performing intakes including assessing and identifying client strengths and needs and providing referrals for assistance. You must also Posses a basic level of knowledge in personal financial topics including credit, debit and money management, and savings and investment options is a plus. $24.03/hr, ADA/EOE.
