The New Mexico Center on Law and Poverty is hiring a Finance Manager to manage financial operations of the organization, perform all general accounting operations, administer payroll and benefits, and oversee all fund allocations, reporting, and financial controls and processes.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Responsibilities include: Manages and performs all general accounting operations, Ensures accuracy of funding accounting system and allocates payroll and expenses, Advises senior management on creating the annual operating budget and strategic planning in financial areas, Creates and prepares accurate monthly financial statements, analysis, and reports, Administers employee benefits, Coordinates annual external audit and tax preparation, Develops and enforces financial policies and procedures.
