Main Areas of Responsibility:
Oversight of accounting functions, including staff supervision, accounts payable, payroll, accounts receivable.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to cost practices, accounting documentation, and reimbursement requests.
Complete financial reporting to Board, Management and funders as part of RMYC reporting responsibilities.
Preparation of annual budget, maintenance of budget updates by program including information to enable budget variance analysis.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Manage staff benefits ensuring cost effectiveness and high value.
Ensure proper insurance coverage.
Manage for consistent improvement of accounting systems, policies, or procedures as required by the organization.
Collaborate with management to inform proposals and fundraising initiatives to ensure accuracy.
Cash flow forecasting, cash management, and bank account management, in conjunction with Executive Director.
Oversee annual audit process and preparation of the annual 990 tax return.
