Finance Director

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Senior financial position responsible for all financial aspects of the organization. Analyze financial data. Oversee and manage accounting functions, annual operating and capital budgets. Supervise finance team: accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll processing, general ledger and journal entries, profit and loss statements and balance sheet.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Fiscal monitoring of grants and contractual obligations. Prepare financial records for annual independent audit, present for Board review and approval.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or comparable field; 8 years’ accounting/finance experience with increasing responsibility; 3 years’ supervision and management experience; demonstrated knowledge of GAAP, FASB and accounting principles; demonstrated knowledge of accounting and spread sheet software; experience with complex budget development and management

Preferred: Accounting experience with non-profit and/or healthcare organizations; MBA or CPA
