Field Representative

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Western Landowners Alliance is seeking a New Mexico Field Representative to build membership, organize and engage landowners, and advance WLA programs in New Mexico. This position will require travel throughout New Mexico to meet with landowners individually, organize meetings and events, and to build relationships on behalf of WLA.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The field representative will identify primary stewardship issues of interest to WLA members and landowners and work with landowners, WLA staff, board and advisors to address these interests in keeping with WLA’s mission.

Other Information/Requirements: 

The field representative must be based in New Mexico and have a working knowledge of the state’s land and water issues, ranching community, conservation community, government and regulatory agencies. The field representative must be capable of and willing to travel extensively by vehicle and to work independently.
