Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Under the direction and supervision of the Senior Policy Strategist, the Organizer will help to create and implement advocacy strategies aimed at police reform and reducing mass incarceration and racial disparities within the criminal justice system. In addition, the Organizer will do some work on immigrant rights, access to reproductive healthcare, and other projects as assigned.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Personally committed to advancing the ACLU’s values, mission, goals and programs. Preference will be given to applicants with an understanding of issues facing communities directly impacted by the criminal justice system, police violence, and immigration policies, either through personal lived experience or prior work experience.
