Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Interpreter is responsible for providing interpretation for clients accessing Catholic Charities services or services through a collaborative agency; provide written translations of documents if needed; and respond appropriately to the cultural differences present among the agency’s service population.

Other Information/Requirements: 

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent required; a minimum of one-year experience in interpretation/translation services required; and fluently bilingual in English and Farsi or Dari. Interpreter training and multicultural experience is preferred.
