Main Areas of Responsibility: 

NMCLP seeks a part-time Farmworker Advocate to work on a year-long project with agricultural workers to identify major issues affecting the community and advance campaigns to protect rights and improve economic opportunities. This person will also assist with coordinating the NM Coalition of Agricultural Workers and Advocates, a large farmworker-focused coalition in the southern part of the state.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

This is a hybrid in-person and remote work position, with the majority of in-person work happening in southern New Mexico. Required: passionate about workers’ rights; willing to connect with agricultural workers when and where they labor; Spanish fluency; and commitment to economic, racial, and gender justice.
