Family Resource Coordinator for San Miguel, Mora and Guadalupe Counties

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsibilities of this position include focusing on the foster parent community to recruit and retain foster and adoptive parents in San Miguel, Mora and Guadalupe counties. This includes coaching foster and prospective adoptive parents, developing resource plans, and providing follow-up to make sure that they are getting the support they need.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Must have:
Experience with foster care or adoption
Familiarity with the diversity of cultures in New Mexico
Ability to utilize e-mail, computers and software for writing and data collection
Ability to develop resource plans for foster and adoptive families
Ability to plan events and work with community leaders/stakeholders
Demonstrated documentation, follow-up and presentation skills
