Main Areas of Responsibility:
Working with the foster parent community to recruit and retain foster and adoptive parents. Duties include recruiting and supporting prospective foster and adoptive parents and families as they work towards licensure; developing retention plans; conducting monthly meetings; and providing follow-up. Duties also include working with community groups and organizations to promote the program.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Must have experience in foster care and/or adoption; ability to work with diverse cultures is essential; ability to utilize email,computers and software for writing and data collection; ability to develop training and plans for families; ability to work with community leaders/stakeholders; demonstrated documentation, follow-up and customer service skills.
