Main Areas of Responsibility:
Responsibilities of this position include working with the foster parent community to recruit and retain foster and adoptive parents. Duties include recruiting and supporting prospective foster and adoptive parents and families as they work towards licensure, developing retention plans, conducting monthly meetings, and providing follow-up. Duties also include working with community groups and organizations to promote the program.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Assets: Organizational and leadership skills, knowledge of existing community resources for families, knowledge regarding child development, and past experience recruiting diverse foster and/or adoptive families.
