Family Activities Coordinator

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Saranam helps families end poverty and homelessness through housing, education, and supportive
communities. As the FCC, you will cultivate volunteer engagement, and develop fun and engaging
evening life skills activities for our families. We seek candidates who will assist our families develop
supportive relationships through positive guidance and nurturing.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The ideal candidate will be able to effectively communicate with a diverse population. You will schedule
presenters and lead activities designed to improve life skills and build relationships. The FCC is
responsible for general tidiness and stocking supplies in our family center. We provide de-escalation and
trauma informed care training.

Other Information/Requirements: 

You should have at least 2yrs experience leading and facilitating groups. We expect the ideal candidate to
team up with our staff and volunteers to creatively meet our families’ needs. You will need to work 2-3
evenings a week and an occasional weekend.
