Main Areas of Responsibility:
Ensures the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all buildings, grounds, and equipment. Supports daily operations, coordinates with staff across departments, and responds to facilities-related issues and emergencies as needed. Schedule averages 20 hours per week and varies seasonally.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Maintain garden cleanliness and pathways; implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules; inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for safety compliance; coordinate repairs and projects with vendors; supervise and train operations volunteers; and serve as secondary contact for facilities emergencies, including after-hours issues such as snow, leaks, fire, or security incidents.
