Facilities Maintenance Staff

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Maintains buildings, grounds, and equipment; conducts routine inspections; implements preventive maintenance; coordinates contractors; supervises volunteers; and responds to emergencies such as leaks, break-ins, or snow events. Ensures facilities remain safe, functional, and compliant while supporting daily operations through timely repairs and consistent upkeep across all spaces.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Cleans indoor areas, manages waste, handles rodent control, and oversees snow removal. Supports events with setup, takedown, and logistical assistance. Performs minor construction and electrical tasks, monitors inventory of supplies, and collaborates with staff to prepare facilities for programs, ensuring clean, accessible, and well-maintained environments year-round.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Requires HS diploma, preferably an associate’s in a related field, plus 5–10 years of maintenance experience. Must safely use tools, lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors in varied conditions. Valid New Mexico driver’s license, weekend or holiday availability, strong communication skills, and knowledge of building systems are essential.
