Executive Director Physical Plant

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Serves as the Chief Officer of Facilities operations and provides vision, leadership, strategic planning, policies, goals and oversight in the management of the college-wide resources in facilities, grounds and physical plant operations.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• Supervises staff, which includes prioritizing and assigning work
• Conducting performance evaluations
• Ensuring staff is trained
• Ensuring employees follow policies and procedures
• Maintaining a healthy and safe working environment
• Making hiring, termination, and disciplinary recommendations

Other Information/Requirements: 

Master's degree in Engineering, Plant Management, Architecture, Business Administration.
Six (6) years experience in comprehensive Physical Plant Management or Public Administration and ten (10) years of progressive professional experience with an institution of higher education.
This is a Contract position and employment is contingent upon obtaining and maintaining a satisfactory background check and drug screen.
This position requires a current NM driver's license.
