Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Roots & Wings Youth Enrichment Program (RWYEP) in a non-profit 501(c)3 that provides educational and outdoor programs for local youth. RWYEP seeks a self-motivated, communicative, and organized individual to coordinate with partnering schools to create and lead youth experiences, organize fundraising, grant writing, and management of a small non-profit.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Provide trip coordination and leadership for multi-day backpack and river trips and other outdoor or enriching experiences. Currently RWYEP works with Roots & Wing Community School (RWCS)-- a public charter school in Lama, NM serving 50 students in grades K-8 to fulfill their mission of being an Expeditionary Learning school that emphasizes project, experiential, and place- based education with an outdoor education component.

Other Information/Requirements: 

This is a part-time position that follows the school calendar. Salary base is $10,000 with potential incentives for additional fundraising. Salary will be reviewed after one year. This position does not include benefits.
