Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Executive Director of the NMCNE provides overall leadership and management to support the mission of the NMCNE, which is to convene and facilitate dialogue and action that results in excellence in nursing education, practice and work environment.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Duties include working with the Board of Directors to establish and implement the strategic goals of the Center: Developing effective partnerships; Ensuring quality of services/programs; Ensuring cost-effective management of Center operations; Developing the resources needed to maintain the operations/activities; Providing overall direction for communications, public information, public policy, and outreach efforts

Other Information/Requirements: 

It is essential that the Executive Director create a high visibility for nursing–related issues, provide a neutral forum for convening, generate information that supports effective solutions, leverage Center supporter contributions, and provide targeted services and consulting.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Active New Mexico RN license (or eligible) Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Nursing. Preference is for Master’s or higher graduate degree.
