Executive Director

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Executive Director will serve as the chief executive officer and chief fundraiser providing overall direction and administration for the AYSP. Duties include: strategic planning; strengthening financial position of the program with effective fundraising, continued development of earned income sources, and efficient use of resources; personnel management; marketing and public relations; building and strengthening community partnerships; developing and implementing the annual budget.

Other Information/Requirements: 

The ideal candidate will have a track record of fundraising success with individuals, corporations, foundations, and government agencies; experience in strategic planning, financial management, and day-to-day operations in a non-profit setting; demonstrated abilities in leading and managing staff; experience in working effectively with volunteers and community leaders; strong organizational skills; and experience in board support. This position reports to the Board of Directors.
