Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

United Way of Carlsbad & South Eddy County seeks an individual experienced in nonprofit management and leadership who is committed to creating a positive impact in Carlsbad & South Eddy County. The ideal candidate will have work experience as senior executive or management experience, preferably in a nonprofit organization.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The candidate must be willing and able to foster collaboration, teamwork and relationship building both internally with the Board of Directors, staff and volunteers as well as externally with corporate and community leaders, non-profit agencies, state and local government and local foundations.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Preferred qualifications and experience include: Bachelor’s degree or substantial work experience in a related field; working knowledge of nonprofit fiscal management, demonstrated ability in public speaking, written and oral communication, and interpersonal relations; experience in fundraising; computer skills are essential. United Way experience is a plus.
