Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Appointed by the Secretary of Cultural Affairs and the Governor, the ED reports to the Secretary and a board of directors. The position requires a seasoned executive administrator with a track record of successful leadership of a large-scale/multidisciplinary organization and operations. The ED supervises a staff of 32 and oversees a complex organization including a performing arts center; art museum and permanent collection; history, literary arts, and genealogy center; and education program.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Desired Qualifications: Higher degree in a related discipline, Significant experience in the management and operations of an organization similar to the National Hispanic Cultural Center, Passion for and in-depth knowledge of the Hispanic and Latino arts, cultures, communities, and constituencies, In depth knowledge of New Mexico history, Fund development and grants management, Experience in developing programming in a cultural institution, Fluency in Spanish
