Main Areas of Responsibility:
Financial oversight: Create annual budget; Oversee monthly revenue and expenses; Write grants and seek new funding sources; Create partnerships with local, state and federal funding sources.
Program oversight: Supervise second tier staff; Ensure quality and stability of programs; Oversee the development of new programs and services.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Public/community relations: Represent Socorro Mental Health as its primary spokesperson; Network with local, state and federal entities.
Human Resources: Maintain the organizational structure; Recruit, hire and evaluate staff.
Relationship with Board of Directors: Serve as liaison between Board and all funding sources; Report regularly to the Board on the status of programs, finances and personnel issues; Implement all Board-approved policies and directives.
