Main Areas of Responsibility:
Under the direction of the Board of Directors, the Executive Director is responsible for overall management and operations of CASA First Judicial District including program development, management of personnel, asset protection, resource development, grant and foundation proposals, public relations and volunteer recruitment and training, while ensuring compliance with Board directives and applicable grantor, federal and state requirements.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Other requirements include: Strong written skills, one year experience with grant writing, fund raising and/or development. Significant experience in public relations, and program planning with demonstrated communication/leadership skills in a multicultural community. Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels; and in one on one or in group settings. Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to review and interpret financial statements and reports.
