Job DescriptionType of Job: Full-TimeMain Areas of Responsibility: This person would work with a board of directors and FOG’s Sunshine lawyer. The executive director is responsible for fundraising, advocacy, lobbying and administrative tasks. Additional Areas of Responsibility: The ED must have strong oral and written communication skills as they will be responsible for FOG’s monthly newsletter, all social media activities, all print and electronic collateral/news releases as well as acting as FOG’s spokesperson. A general knowledge of media operations and comfort speaking to the public is needed. Other Information/Requirements: The ed is responsible for all fundraising, grant-writing, recruiting new members, and planning, fundraising event, day-to-day financial operations etc. The ED engages with government officials and manages, oversees, and advocates at the state capitol.
