Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsible for the management and oversight of Storehouse West in fulfilling the organization's mission to alleviate poverty on the West Mesa and throughout the rural areas of Sandoval County, by providing non-perishable food to those in need. This position requires approximately 25 hours per week.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Work with board, staff, and volunteers to ensure the mission is fulfilled through programs, strategic planning, and community outreach. Develop and maintain resources sufficient to ensure the financial health of the organization.
Establish and maintain relationships with various organizations and use those relationships to strategically enhance Storehouse West’s Mission. Recruit, hire, train, and lead of up to 3 paid staff members and 80 volunteers.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Relations, or similar field OR equivalent of 5 years management-level work experience including managing personnel, maintaining inventory, and managing a facility and grounds. Non-profit management experience preferred but not required. Experience in grant writing and reporting and fundraising. Vigorous administration of ethics, safety, and fiscal policies. Familiarity with safety and security of facilities, staff, and volunteers.
