Main Areas of Responsibility:
New Mexico Land Conservancy (NMLC) is an accredited, statewide, non-profit land trust and conservation leader in the Southwest. The Executive Director is the chief executive officer of the corporation responsible for overseeing the fundraising, finances and administration; conservation and stewardship programs; communications, outreach, public policy and advocacy; and organizational development, including executing the strategic plan and vision of New Mexico Land Conservancy.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
1) Provide leadership in outreach and land conservation 2) Ensure sufficient funding to accomplish NMLC’s mission and project goals 3) Continue conservation productivity with project work 4) Maintain existing public agency and foundation funding and secure additional support 5) Increase awareness of NMLC 6) Expand relationships with external constituents 7) Partner with other entities for mutual benefit to accomplish NMLC’s mission. 8) Manage all staff directly and remotely (Silver City office)
