Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Executive Director reports to the SFYSA Board of Directors and is responsible for the day-to-day operation of SFYSA and its overall strategic direction, administration, and fundraising consistent with policies and directives established by the Board. The Executive Director has broad authority to guide the operations of the SFYSA in collaboration with the Artistic Leadership and the SFYSA Board to achieve the organization's mission and strategic goals.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
SFYSA: youth music and performance education organization, with programs in orchestra, chamber music, jazz, mariachi and elementary strings education. SFYSA is dedicated to bringing our community together through music, providing our students with excellent music and performance education, and giving them a wide range of musical experiences. Our students come from all over the northern area of the state and from a wide variety of economic and cultural backgrounds.
