Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Center for International Studies - Albuquerque International Association is seeking to hire an Executive Director. CFIS-AIA is a 501 c 3 non-profit educational and cultural institution based in Albuquerque, NM since 2003. We have approximately 400 members and runs a variety of programs: lecture series which bring in speakers from around the world to discuss a wide range of questions, mostly internationally focused; travel abroad; a book club, a foreign movies club and a cuisine club.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The Executive Director will have overall responsibility for the implementation of AIA mission and its strategic plan, specifically for management of the organization, fund-raising, membership maintenance and development, and marketing. Qualifications include business skills and experience in non-profit management, fund-raising, marketing; demonstrated ability in written and oral communications, and a strong interest in international affairs.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Initially it will be half time position with the annual salary of $30,000. In 2022, depending on pandemic completion, the Board will consider extending the job to full time position.
