Main Areas of Responsibility: 

This position is responsible for administrative and management for the organization, for fundraising, for member and sponsorship growth, for adhering to the budget and annual plan, for media communications, promotions, and marketing. Areas of responsibility: 35% Administrative, and Leadership; 35% Fundraising and Sponsorships; 30% Programing, Communications, and Promotions.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

You will develop and maintain a collaborative working relationship with the NMJW Board of Directors, Staff, and the local performing arts community and organizations; establish and support immediate and long term strategic goals to enhance the organization; work with the Board President and Treasure to develop a yearly budget; work with the Board and Staff to create an Annual Plan and strategic goals; and adhere to best practices for the 501-c-3 charitable organizational status.

Other Information/Requirements: 

This position requires a BS degree in business, marketing, or nonprofit management or five years of equivalent; at least 3 years of fundraising experience; effective communication skills; experience with supervising staff and volunteers; experience in developing partnerships; experience in media promotion; experience in conducting Zoom meetings; knowledge of virtual performance platforms; and familiarity with NM arts groups, institutions, and organizations.
