Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The NMAFC Executive Director will have a philanthropic mindset, a passion for social justice, and a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion within local communities. The Executive Director will have the opportunity to elevate and expand this financially sound and reputable organization throughout the state.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

This role will be responsible for organizational leadership; communication with the board of directors; fiscal management; revenue generation; strategic planning; and advocacy, legislative, and community engagement.

Other Information/Requirements: 

This role requires a bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred); extensive experience in senior leadership roles, including financial oversight; experience working with New Mexico communities (preferred) and/or national organizations; fundraising and grant writing experience; bilingual/Asian language fluency (preferred); media savvy; and public policy or legislative experience.
