Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Oversees day to day operations including planning, developing,implementing the goals, objectives, and activities of the organization; Manages and implements grants and programs; Develops and manages the budget, including grant writing; Develops community systems approach in order to build collaboration and advance evidence based substance abuse prevention strategies; Manages staff, contracts with consultants, including evaluation services.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Qualifications: BA/BS Minimum, min. 5 years’ experience directing non-profit agency preferred; 5 years’ exp. in substance abuse prevention field preferred; Certified Prevention Specialist certification required within 3 years of hire. Demonstrated experience with financial management and supervision; experience working in communities, including government; demonstrated grant writing experience; proficient in writing and presentation skills. Must maintain regular office hours.
