Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Together with the Board of Trustees and Music Director, the Executive Director will work to ensure SFPM’s financial and operational stability, and maintain its artistic excellence. Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the Executive Director oversees an annual budget of approximately $1 million and a staff of 4.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The Executive Director will be expected to: provide organizational leadership; assume a central fundraising role; oversee administration and finance; foster staff development; facilitate positive Board relations; and engage in the community. Other Information/Requirements: 

Prior nonprofit leadership experience is strongly preferred. An abiding interest in classical music is critical. Experience working in a collegial relationship with a music director and /or artistic director is a plus. Prior successful fundraising, marketing and Board relations experience is expected and essential.
