Main Areas of Responsibility:
Partner with the Board of Directors to deploy all aspects of ZFFC programming and administration. Develop quality programs that will serve as a complement to elementary curricula outside of school hours. Recruit, interview, hire and supervise the teachers and staff. Foster a meaningful relationship between ZFFC and its constituents. Partner with bookkeeper to ensure proper accounting of organization finances. Perform other duties and attend meetings as assigned.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Plan for, run, and attend staff meetings and other team meetings and documents meeting outcomes, as needed, to ensure open communication. Follow the Child Safety policy of the ZFFC and ensure all staff and related volunteers working with children, youth, and vulnerable adults have passed appropriate background checks and have completed any required trainings. Actively pursue fundraising opportunities that match ZFFC’s philosophy and goals. Substitute as needed if an instructor is absent.
