Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Manage programmatic excellence, rigorous program evaluation and consistent quality of finance and administration, fundraising, communications and systems. Actively engage and energize NMX/508 volunteers, board members, event committees, alumni, partnering organizations and funders. Develop, maintain and support a strong Board of Directors. Lead, coach, develop and retain NMX/508’s management team.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Fundraising & Communications. Expand local revenue generating and fundraising activities to support existing program operations and future expansion. Deepen and refine all aspects of communications.
Design the strategic business planning process for the program expansion into new markets.
Build partnerships in new markets, establish relationships with funders, and political and community leaders at each expansion site.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Applicant must demonstrate skills working with youth
5+ years of management experience and can demonstrate good team-building skills
Bachelor’s degree or 5 years’ experience in a related field
Nonprofit experience
Successful fundraising experience
Proficient at event planning, promoting and marketing skills
Must possess good financial experience to include working with youth, community and government officials
Grant research/writing
