Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Learning Alliance executive director will engage New Mexican policymakers, education leaders and community members to mobilize action grounded in the Learning Alliance values, strategic initiatives and community-led recommendations.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• Promote the Values Framework
• Interface with the Advisory Board and Committees to achieve defined goals
• Fund raise
• Oversee and monitor the organization's financial health
• Refine, communicate and advocate for community-led recommendations
• Manage partners to grow the reach and impact of initiatives
• Research, analyze, and promote existing local and national promising practices
• Other duties as assigned

Other Information/Requirements: 

Professional requirements include a bachelor’s degree/master’s degree or five to seven years of relevant professional experience; excellent communication skills: deep listening, persuasive public speaking and writing. Also looking for strong interpersonal, critical thinking, problem-solving ability and analytical skills in order to build authentic relationships within diverse populations. The Executive Director should have a commitment to embodying the Learning Alliance values.
