Main Areas of Responsibility:
A visionary leader who is passionate about public lands, dedicated to executing an innovative strategic plan, and knowledgeable about conservation issues. Candidates should be active hunters/anglers, as NMWF’s 83,000 supporters are, and also prepared to team with a broader wildlife conservation community on behalf of healthy habitats and watersheds.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
The Executive Director will work closely with the Board of Directors and lead an always enthusiastic professional staff. The New Mexico Wildlife Federation is a century-old organization founded by Aldo Leopold and nationally recognized as an inspired, forward-leaning conservation organization that is a major force among its peers. Its new Executive Director will have the opportunity to seize that momentum and take wildlife conservation in New Mexico to even higher levels.
