Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR of the NMFYC is responsible for establishing and implementing the mission, goals, and values of the NMFYC within New Mexico. This involves all aspects of
advocating the FORUM Vision, focusing on staff development and support, developing an active volunteer board of directors, and establishing the NMFYC as a charitable force for youth development within the local community.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR is also responsible for strategic planning, establishing the overall budget for the NMFYC, and for ensuring that the NMFYC consistently operates within established budgets, guidelines and policies. The key challenges facing the NMFYC include: establishing a solid financial base and maintaining its local and national reputation as a premier positive youth development intermediary.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Qualifications:
 Bachelors Degree is required,Masters Preferred
 Strong (Successful) Leadership Experience
 Understands and Models the Philosophy of Positive Youth
 Possess a clear understanding of the differences between an intermediary and direct services delivery organizations
