Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Executive Director is the principal on-site staff person responsible for coordinating all organizational activities, as well as staff and volunteers. The Executive Director represents the community locally, regionally, and nationally - as appropriate - and guides the organization as its objectives evolve.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
This position is responsible for management of the SCACD, including the development of tourism promotions - in coordination with Grant County Tourism - for the Town of Silver City through Visit Silver City, management of the Murray Ryan Visitor Center, implementation of the Silver City Arts & Cultural District Cultural Plan, and the oversight of all SCACD endeavors, such as the Southwest New Mexico Clay Arts Trail.
