Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Learning Alliance Executive Director will engage New Mexican policymakers, education leaders and community members to mobilize action grounded in the organization's values, strategic initiatives and community-led recommendations.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• Promote the Values Framework
• Interface with the Advisory Board and Committees to achieve defined goals
• Fund raise
• Oversee and monitor the organization's financial health
• Refine, communicate and advocate for community-led recommendations
• Manage partners to grow the reach and impact of initiatives
• Research, analyze and promote existing local and national promising practices
• Other duties as assigned

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree or five years of relevant professional experience
• Deep listening, persuasive public speaking and writing
• Ability to build authentic relationships within diverse populations
• Critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills
• Commitment to embodying values
• Time and task management skills
• Highly-motivated and self-driven
• Ability to thrive within a team
• Must be able to work some weekends and evenings
• Willingness to travel
