Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Lead non-profit agency providing civil legal services to children and youth; manage attorneys; provide strategic guidance on legal issues, cases and policies; fundraise

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Must be:
- Motivated to help children and youth improve their circumstances and have a vision of how a legal organization can best assist them
- Licensed in New Mexico or eligible for admission by examination or licensed in another state and eligible for reciprocity admission or for a New Mexico legal aid providers limited license (NM Rule 15301.2)
- Able to think strategically about organizational expansion

Other Information/Requirements: 

Experience managing staff and non-profits, including financial oversight and planning required. Attorneys with at least 5 years experience in abuse/neglect, children’s law or family law preferred. Trial experience and English/Spanish speaker preferred. Salary commensurate with experience.
