Main Areas of Responsibility:
• Working with the Board of Directors to implement the strategic goals of NMAHHC
• Developing partnerships / strategic alliances throughout NM
• Recruiting and managing membership retention
• Providing training and educational opportunities
• Providing overall direction for communications, public information, public policy, and outreach efforts
The duties also include advocacy for the industry. The Executive Director is responsible for managing the annual operation budget and staff.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
• Provides leadership and vision for the implementation of the NMAHHC mission and strategic goals, in collaboration with the Board of Directors;
• Develops a high profile for the NMAHHC and is a visible advocate for enhancing home care and hospice services.
• Initiates and encourages collaboration and cooperation among other organizations, leaders and stakeholders.
