Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Executive Director serves as the chief executive officer of People Living Through Cancer (PLTC), carries out the policies of the Board of Directors, directs staff and volunteers, and is the key interface with the community, funders and our healthcare partners. Grant writing, program development, staff management, board relations and community building are the main areas of responsibility.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Fundraising, revenue generation, strategic planning, events organization, financial management. Recruit, hire, train staff and volunteers as appropriate to ensure project health, optimal deliverable outcomes and organizational diversity. Outreach and community health experience required.

Other Information/Requirements: 

A high level of expertise with Microsoft Suite, Quickbooks, Budgets, Supervision, Contract Compliance, Program Development. Ability to work a flexible schedule. Ideal candidate will have 7 or more years of experience in a leadership position for either a nonprofit or for profit organization. B.A. or higher degree from an accredited college or university. Passion for serving the cancer community, compassion for the under served, commitment to creating sustainable and relevant programs.
