Main Areas of Responsibility:
• Implement strategies to generate resources.
• Build partnerships across a variety of stakeholders.
• Oversee operations including grantmaking activities.
• Provide technical assistance for projects.
• Implement communications strategies.
• Conduct basic research to support community development initiatives.
• Assist the Board with policy/advocacy efforts that advance community resilience.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
The Executive Director should be knowledgeable of community development and be able to work with diverse stakeholders to advance organizational goals. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, organized and capable of working independently. Supervisory experience is preferred. Proficiency with productivity software, online communications and collaboration tools is preferred. Knowledge of Quickbooks accounting is helpful.
