Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The RPC seeks an energetic, community-oriented person to serve as Executive Development Director to provide vision and leadership while creating a climate of community investment. The EDD is responsible for planning and implementing strategies to maximize support for the Railyard Park from businesses, individuals and foundations.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The EDD works collaboratively with city and nonprofit officials, our program coordinator, several contractors, a large volunteer gardening force, and many other conservation volunteers and youth groups. With the Railyard Park Conservancy Board and community partners, the EDD raises funds to carry out programs, horticultural directives and capital enhancements to park.

Other Information/Requirements: 

This is a position for a planner, a priority-maker, a marketing and communications-oriented writer, a motivated self-starter, a natural liaison and a strategic and inventive fundraiser. It’s a big job for the right candidate to make a positive impact in our park and community.
