Executive Assistant

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Executive Assistant is an administrative partner with the Executive Director. The position interfaces across all areas of the Foundation and interacts with all Foundation stakeholders, including Board and Committee members, requiring a positive attitude and sophisticated communication, customer service, and professional relationship skills.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Team Work -- Works in collaboration with Executive Director, Foundation staff, Museum staff, and Board members

Miscellaneous
1. Attends Board meetings and Committee meetings
2. Staffs Foundation events
3. Other duties as assigned

Other Information/Requirements: 

Associates Degree preferred; minimum of five years’ administrative or secretarial experience supporting a senior manager, exceptional communication skills, and proven track record working with a diverse population. Must be assertive with the ability to solve practical problems, make decisions, and work effectively with Board members and all levels of staff within the organization. Must be detail oriented and organized; a team player with a positive attitude and strong relationship skills.
