Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Events & Engagement Manager leads large-scale, high-profile museum events from strategy through post-event analysis, blending corporate event production with an educational mission. This role drives flagship programs like the Einstein Gala and Nuclear Science Week, collaborates with leadership and stakeholders, supports fundraising and outreach goals, supervises the Facility Rental Coordinator, and liaises with the Board of Directors.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Collaboration & Cross‑Functional Partnerships
Work as an integrated member of the Development and Communications Team, aligning events with fundraising strategies, donor stewardship, marketing campaigns, and public engagement efforts.
Lead High‑Impact Events
Own the full event lifecycle for a portfolio of major events, including galas, silent and live auctions, fundraising events, corporate receptions, donor experiences, and public programs.

Other Information/Requirements: 

3+ years of experience in event management, corporate events, hospitality, experiential marketing, or related fields.
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is required, and candidates should have experience working within a results‑oriented environment.
Proven success managing multiple events, budgets, vendors, and timelines simultaneously.
