Events Coordinator (Part-Time)

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Events Coordinator will join the YWCA Team to coordinate the fundraising events and social enterprise of the YWCA. Will work under the supervision of the President & CEO to implement short and long-term fundraising and marketing strategies. Will cultivate sponsorships and corporate donors, seek in-kind donations, and recruit volunteers.

Additional Areas of Responsibility:

Oversees and supports fundraising events including our signature fundraisers: Women on the Move, Leadership Diversity Training Institute and Southwest Sounds Festival.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Qualifications:
BA/BS required. Documented successful experience may substitute for degree at 2 years=1 year education (assuming BA/BS is 4 year degree). Documented 3-5 years successful experience in event coordination, marketing/public relations, and/or fundraising or 3-5 years organizing and conducting workshops and trainings. Strong written and verbal communication, organization, administrative and computer skills.
